| Mobile & Wireless Solutions |
|
| |
The growth of the mobile phone industry has taken the whole world by surprise.
If you are a content provider or broadcaster or in any way connected with the
convergence industries, it is probably an integral part of your strategy. The
real challenge here is to avoid creating a silo of mobile applications as
distinct from the mainstream content or other forms of interactivity. What does
your mobile strategy look like? Do you have a mobility strategy beyond mobile
phones - to cater to the emerging base of non-phone mobile devices?
Recreate Solutions has a mobile & wireless solutions practice. Whether
you're looking for applications based on location based services, or real time
integration of mobile applications with broadcast and interactive applications,
we could be your implementation partners. Some of the application areas we have
worked on are: |

|
| |
|
 |
Bespoke Application Development |
|
Recreate Solutions has worked on a number of bespoke mobile applications, which
are typically combinations of J2ME/ Brew clients and back end systems which can
exchange data with the client side application. We have built mobile
applications used in gaming, dating, voting & polls, news stickers,
location based application and others. We work closely with our clients across
broadcast and content provider clients to conceptualize, define and implement
mobile applications that enhance the value the business.
|
|
 |
Games Development |
|
We have built a number of games for hand-held devices on various platforms.
These include Arcade Games, Sport Games, Action Games and Branded Games. Our
involvement in game development includes conceptualizing design, integration
with network/database/payment gateways, cross-platform development, deployment
and maintenance.
|
|
 |
Infrastructure Development |
|
Recreate Solutions is currently developing a multiplayer network gaming
engine, which can be linked to the service provider's systems. Recreate
Solutions has prior experience of multiplayer engines on other interactive
platforms. We are currently working with two large mobile multiplayer
infrastructure providers and are working, as their technology development
partner, to create and roll out a cross-region multi-player platform.

|
 |
Porting |
|
Porting is a critical business requirement for mobile applications - given the
number of handsets and the short lifespan of a typical mobile application. We
provide porting across various devices, various standards, protocols and
network technologies. We have developed our own porting tools by way of
re-usable components in order to save time and provide predictability in
porting results.
For the mobile game industry, we help publishers with game play study, game
complexity analysis and target device grouping for publishers to ascertain
porting costs prior launch.

Integration with Broadcast stream |
|
Are you trying to integrate your mobile application with your broadcast? Do you
want a cost effective way of allowing texts and multimedia messages to
integrate with a broadcast stream in a moderated environment? Give us a call.
We can offer you a solution where you can output fully integrated broadcast
with video graphics and audio or simply treat the messages as graphic overlays.
Our solution integrates to any of the standard playout systems and broadcast
management systems using standard APIs.
